This is the SECOND repair on the 3D printed GROOT models I made for my daughters... Same break in same place! (I maybe should have mounted them on a base?) This one is StaceFiona's Groot, and I used a new method of heat wielding the crack to strengthen it this time. 😉
The wielded join seems really strong, it looks like this is a good technique when repairing PLA printed objects.
